1. Ganesh Chaturthi Puja Vidhi (Rituals):

Cleaning and Preparation: The festivities begin with cleaning and decorating the place of worship. Purity and sanctity to welcome Lord Ganesha is important. 
 First clean and decorate the place where want to install idol Ganesha.
Place a chawki and a red clothe lay on chawki. 
Arrange all Puja essential samagri, the offerings.

Sthapana (Idol Installation):

 The idol is placed on a specially prepared platform ,a wooden post.

Kalash Sthapana: 

 In front place a kalash fill with water, a coin, decorate with mango leaves or betel leaf, set a coconut at brim of kalash.  For kalash puja shower water with flower and kumkum haldi Tilak,  offer flowers. 

 Pranapratishtha: 

The priest or the head of the household invokes the divine presence of Lord Ganesha into the idol with chanting mantras.

 Devotees first sit with folding leg and joining palm. And start with giving bath Ganesh idol like shower holy water with flower upon Ganesha.

 Aarti and Bhajans:

After offerings do aarti with waving diya.
